Bob Puccini
President/CEO, The Puccini Group

With more than thirty years experience in all aspects of restaurant development, Mr. Puccini has a unique ability to survey markets and
develop concepts that best suit the potential customer base and their spending habits. His specialization in creating personality restaurants has evolved over twenty years of hands-on development beginning with Que Pasa group of family restaurants for the El Torito Company in the ‘70’s, and extending to the expansion of Acapulco restaurants and the turnaround of Rusty Scupper’s.

Since 1989, Puccini has been associated with the Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant Group as Senior Vice President of Restaurants, and today as a restaurant concept and design consultant. Bob oversees all aspects of The Puccini Group and spends a substantial amount of his time in business development.

Bob serves on the Board of Directors for the California Restaurant Association and is Chairman of its Educational Foundation. He is also a member of the board of advisors of Golden Gate University’s Hotel and Restaurant Management School, University of San Francisco’s Hospitality Management Program as well as the Hospitality Management Advisory Board of San Francisco State University. In 2004 he was inducted in to the World Travel and Tourism Council. He holds a BA in Political Science and Economics from San Diego State University and spent 1969 in Brazil with the Peace Corps.
