Micah Broude
Co-founder, E&O Trading Company Restaurants
Micah Broude has over twenty-six years experience in the restaurant industry as an entrepreneur and as a consultant.

Micah is co-founder of the E&O Trading Company Restaurants, a full-service Asian grill with units in California and Hawaii. Prior to creating the E&O concept, Micah served as Vice President of the Monterey Pasta Company (Nasdaq:PSTA) where he developed and subsequently directed the national franchise program. He is also a founding partner of Dynamic Payment Ventures, Inc., a credit card processing company dedicated to the restaurant industry.
Micah’s first foray in the food business was as co-founder of Gourmet Express, a food service distributor focused on niche specialty products for the restaurant and hotel trade. After successfully building the company, it was purchased by a larger food service distributor.
For fifteen of the past twenty-six years, Micah has provided consulting and advisory services to emerging restaurant companies in the quick-service and casual dining segments. Clients have included a diverse group ranging from the San Francisco Giants to DreamWorks Motion Pictures. Typical assignments revolve around concept refinement, growth financing, human resource development, real estate strategy and operations analysis.
Micah began his career at Levi Strauss & Company, where he wrote the business plan and then became Merchandise Manager of its large-size ladies sportswear division. He left Levi Strauss to embark upon his first entrepreneurial startup, whereby he became GM of a company that produced Snoopy Strip adhesive bandages. Under his leadership the company grew from a prototype to placing product in over 5000 gift shops across the country.
Micah has a BA degree, cum laude, from the University of California, Berkeley (1973) and an MBA degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (1976).
